This plan is available to international students and scholars on a J-1 visa who are participating in a program at UCLA. You must be actively engaged in academic or research activities and not have U.S. permanent resident status. Eligible dependents (spouse or children under 26) can also participate.
Enrollment is done online. Just visit our UCLA Global Care Enrollment Portal, select your plan, and complete the secure checkout. Payment is required at the time of enrollment. No school approval is needed.
